DARIEN,
CT –Now
is the time to ensure you are enrolled to receive critical CodeRED emergency
messages from the Town of Darien during September’s National Preparedness Month.
Notifications are provided at no cost for all Darien residents. Town officials
will send out CodeRED alerts related to any potential storm activity,
evacuations, shelter locations, and other emergencies making it an essential
preparedness tool to stay safe.
Those
who have already enrolled to receive CodeRED alerts but have recently moved or
changed telephone numbers are encouraged to visit the Darien Police website at http://www.darienpolice.org/content/207/259/default.aspx

would also like to receive general alerts in addition to emergency alerts and

alerts to users within the exact area of impact. Alerts are initiated by public
safety officials who use the CodeRED community notification system to
effectively alert and inform residents to save lives. Visit iTunes or Google Play to download the
app.
